Step-by-step guide

From buying to connecting, in under 5 minutes.

An eSIM is a digital SIM you download to your phone. No physical card, no airport queues, no swapping your number.

The process

Three steps, zero hassle

Pick your destination and plan

Search for your country or trip region. Filter by days and unlimited or total GB. Final price shows in your currency.

Pay and get your QR

Secure card payment via Stripe. We email the install QR within seconds.

Install ahead, connect on arrival

Scan the QR from home over WiFi. When you land, switch the data line and you're set. Validity starts on first connection.

Before you buy

Is your phone compatible?

eSIMs work on most modern phones. Check these four points before purchasing.

Supports eSIM

iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, and most Samsung Galaxy S20 and later.

It's carrier-unlocked

If you bought the phone from a carrier and never switched, ask them to unlock it.

iOS 17.4 or later

Recommended for the one-tap "Install on iPhone" button. iOS 12.1+ works with manual QR.

Android 9 or later

Real support depends on the manufacturer. Dial *#06# — if you see an "EID", your Android supports eSIM.

Installation

How to install your eSIM

Do it from home, over WiFi, before you leave. The eSIM stays inactive until it first connects to a destination network.

On iPhone

  1. 1Tap "Install on iPhone" from the email or order page (iOS 17.4 or later).
  2. 2On older iOS, open Settings › Cellular › Add eSIM › Use QR Code and scan the QR from another device.
  3. 3Label the eSIM "Travel" and set it as your "Cellular Data" line.

On Android

  1. 1Open Settings › Network & Internet › SIMs (or "Connections" depending on the brand).
  2. 2Tap "Add eSIM" or "Download a SIM instead" and scan the QR from another device.
  3. 3Activate the eSIM, set it as the default data line, and turn on data roaming if prompted.
Activation

Your first day with the eSIM

Validity starts on connection

Installing doesn't burn days. The clock starts on the first connection to a supported network at destination.

Switch WiFi off on landing

To force the first registration on the local network, turn WiFi off for a couple of minutes once you arrive.

Enable data roaming

Even on a local eSIM, some phones flag it as "roaming". Enable it only on the eSIM line, not your main SIM.
