Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of 9Roam. By accessing the service, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using 9Roam (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. 9Roam is a service operated by Dovantis Group LLC ("Dovantis", "we", "us"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
2. The Service
9Roam offers embedded SIM ("eSIM") data plans for use across more than 170 destinations. Connectivity is delivered over the radio networks of third-party local carriers. We do not own or operate the underlying networks.
3. Eligibility & device compatibility
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. You are responsible for verifying that your device supports eSIM technology, is unlocked, and is compatible with the bands used by destination carriers. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device.
4. Purchase & delivery
• Plans are sold as one-time purchases; no subscription or account is required. • After successful payment, an installation QR code and instructions are delivered to the email address you provide. • It is your responsibility to provide a correct email. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect addresses or aggressive spam filters.
5. Prices, currency & taxes
Prices are displayed in the currency you select and are charged via our payment processor (Stripe). Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but the price you paid for a confirmed order is final.
6. Activation & validity
• The validity period of each plan begins upon first connection to a supported network, unless otherwise stated. • Each eSIM profile is single-use; once installed and activated it cannot be transferred to another device. • Plans expire at the end of their validity period regardless of remaining data.
7. Coverage, speed & fair use
Coverage areas, network technologies (4G/5G), and achievable speeds depend on the destination carriers and on local conditions. "Unlimited" plans are subject to a fair-use policy: after the daily high-speed allowance is consumed, the connection continues at reduced speed at no additional cost.
8. Refunds
• We refund the unused portion of an eSIM if the QR code has not been installed and a verifiable technical issue exists. • Once an eSIM has been installed or has connected to any supported network, the purchase is final and non-refundable. • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) circumvent applicable laws, (b) generate machine-to-machine traffic that adversely affects the network, (c) commercially redistribute or sublicense the connectivity to third parties, (d) send spam or malicious traffic. We may suspend service if abusive behavior is detected.
10. Intellectual property
All trademarks, logos, and content on the Service are the property of Dovantis or its licensors. You receive no license other than the one strictly necessary for normal use of the Service.
11. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION OF THE UNDERLYING NETWORKS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PLAN GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dovantis from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where binding consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
